Prefer to swim indoors? The hotel also has a heated saltwater pool just for adults. Both pools are for hotel guests only.
Electra Metropolis (rooftop + spa pool)
At Electra Metropolis, head up to the 10th floor and lounge by the outdoor pool while soaking up views of the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill. It’s open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (weather permitting), and it’s the perfect spot to grab a cocktail or snack.
There’s also a sleek indoor pool inside the spa, available by appointment. Both pools are reserved for guests only.
The Dolli at Acropolis (heated infinity pool)
The Dolli at Acropolis is one of the most impressive hotels in Athens with swimming pools. It has a stunning rooftop infinity pool that almost blends into the Parthenon behind it. From the pool, you can also spot Hadrian’s Library below.
The pool is heated in winter, open year-round from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and reserved exclusively for guests.
Hotel Grande Bretagne (seasonal outdoor + indoor heated pool)
An Athens icon on Syntagma Square Grande Bretagne Hotel has both an outdoor rooftop pool and an elegant indoor spa pool.
The rooftop pool usually opens from mid to late April through October and is heated to 27°C (80°F).
During winter, you can still enjoy the indoor heated pool at the GB Spa, which is open all year.
Outdoor pool access is for hotel guests only and depends on the weather.
