With chef extraordinaire Lefteris Lazarou at the helm, this joint has gained fame for using local ingredients and giving classic Greek dishes a fun makeover.
Specialties: All kinds of fish and seafood you can think of. Fish spaghetti with minced shrimp and baked tomatoes and fish with cream beetroot, colored beets, broccoli, and bearnaise sauce. I love their shrimp risotto with raisins, pine nuts & tomatoes, and their high-ranked sesame-crusted tuna fillet.

Glydafa is a posh residential and shopping area by the Athens Riviera, 12km far from the Acropolis. It is also a very popular food destination throughout the year as its restaurants and taverns offer notoriously great food.
2. Nikolas tis Schinoussas Restaurant
Nikolas tis Schinoussas is a top seafront fish restaurant in Glyfada, offering incredible sea views, excellent service, and mouthwatering seafood dishes. Don’t miss their taramosalata, Schinousa salad, kritharoto (small pasta with seafood), steamed mussels, and freshly grilled fish.
After your meal, enjoy a coffee in their designated area, perfect for relaxing by the sea. You can also take a stroll along Glyfada’s beautiful sandy beach just steps away, making your visit a full experience of great food, stunning views, and seaside vibes.

Vouliagmeni is another beautiful area in Athens Riviera, one of the most expensive areas to buy or sell property in Greece. It has quite a few seafront fish restaurants that are all offering very high-quality food.
3. Blue Fish Restaurant
Set on a small beautiful Vouliagmeni bay, and with direct access to the sea, it is an amazing spot to have your meal. Some of my favorite dishes are fried prawns, shrimp tempura, crispy skin sea bream and cacio e pepe di mare tagliatelle.
If you do not want to have a full meal, go to the oyster bar with comfortable bamboo beds for sunset time, where fine oysters and seafood are served in harmony with different champagnes. At lunchtime the mood is relaxed, the flavors more comforting, the sailboats drop anchor in front of you and you think you’re on an island.

4. Garbi Restaurant
Garbi restaurant has been one of the best seaside fish restaurants in Athens since 1924. Garbi’s dinner is very elegant with the white color dominating with large glass windows around the restaurant and at the back, there is a small garden with tables under huge umbrellas.
Choose their crab salad, fish ceviche, seafood pasta, or risotto with their fish coming daily from Leros, Crete, and Andros. Their Greek traditional dishes with some twists like their Mediterranean fish soup and shrimp mousaka. They have one of the best tarama salads in Athens!

6. Sardelaki Vouliagmenis
Food, atmosphere, view, friendly and fast service with the appetizer platter stealing the show in the beginning, all wonderful! The stuffed calamari is a must-try, and the salad menu is great. Everything was delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, definitely recommended.
The restaurant offers an amazing sea view, good food, and satisfying portions. Prices are reasonable considering the location. The unique feature of selecting appetizers from a platter at the beginning is particularly enjoyable. Whether seafood or fish, everything we tried was incredibly tasty and filling.
Summary: We visited this restaurant after a day at the beach and were pleasantly surprised in every aspect. Efficient staff, delicious food, delightful view, and relaxing ambiance. Highly recommended!

Lambros is a historical restaurant, operating since 1889, and a famous fish restaurant in Athens. Set right across the Vouliagmeni Lake, is fortunate to have all of Vouliagmeni Bay in front of its tables.
The legendary dishes of Lambros are the mussel pilaf, with raisins, pine nuts, and dill, while the marinated anchovies, the crayfish, and also the saganaki with shrimp are excellent choices.

- If you have the time, besides the stunning Acropolis Museum, I highly recommend the National Archaeological Museum, the biggest Museum in Greece with ancient artifacts from all over the country.
